2. What data we process
- Account data — name, email address and a hashed password when you register. Your email address is confirmed via double opt-in before the account is activated.
- Two-factor authentication — if you enable it, we store an encrypted TOTP secret and encrypted recovery codes.
- Connected social accounts — when you connect a social network we store your profile reference (ID, username, display name, avatar) and the OAuth access token the network issues. All tokens are stored encrypted. We never see or store your social network passwords.
- Content — the posts, images and tags you create, and the publication results (post links, status, error messages).
- Statistics — engagement figures (likes, shares, comments, impressions) that the connected networks report for your own posts.
- Log data — technical server logs (IP address, time, requested URL) kept for security and error analysis.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We process this data to provide the service you signed up for — publishing your posts to the social networks you connected and showing you their performance (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR), and to keep the service secure (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Optional features such as two-factor authentication are processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR).
4. Sharing with social networks
When you publish a post, its content (text, tags and images) is transmitted to the networks you selected — X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and/or Mastodon. From that moment the respective network processes the content under its own privacy policy. We only transmit data when you actively connect an account or publish a post; we do not embed any social network trackers on this site.
5. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies: a session cookie and a CSRF protection cookie. No analytics, advertising or third-party cookies are set.
6. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. Disconnecting a social network deletes its stored token immediately. Deleting a post removes its images from our server (posts already published on the networks remain there until you delete them on the network). When your account is deleted, all associated data — posts, images, connections and statistics — is deleted as well.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, reach out via the contact form.
8. Security
All connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Social network tokens and two-factor secrets are stored encrypted at rest, passwords only as salted hashes.
9. Changes
We will update this policy when the service changes and indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of the page.
